Steve Casey pairs the administrative discipline of a larger firm with daily, hands-on leadership. He began building in Truckee in 2004 after earning a B.S. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and serving five years as a Coast Guard officer.

As early as pre-construction. Casey Custom Builders can work with an architect and designer you have already chosen or recommend collaborators, then begin conceptual budgeting before drawings are complete.
How are budgets managed during design and construction?
Budgeting begins with historical data and current cost analysis, develops through structured subcontractor and vendor bidding, and is monitored and revised throughout the project for real-time awareness.
How will we follow progress if we are away from Tahoe?
Owners receive access to job-specific schedules in BuilderTrend along with daily communication, logs, and photos. One client completed a Martis Camp home with a weekly call and monthly visit.
